FCC Clarifies Form 740 Filing Procedures |

The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC’s) Office of Engineering and Technology has issued a public notice to address misconceptions about electronic filing requirements for FCC Form 740 - Statement Regarding the Importation of Radio Frequency Devices Capable of Causing Harmful Interference. Per the Notice, the trade community is to continue to file FCC-required information electronically with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) via an Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)-Entry Summary or any other process that may be designated by CBP until the waiver provision takes effect on July 1, 2016.
