In administrative message CSMS #16-000093 issued February 8, 2016, CBP has announced new transition guidance for the implementation of ACE for entry and entry summary filings. The once extended deadline of February 28, 2016 will be modified as follows:
The new dates are March 31 and May 28, and “Summer 2016 (Specific dates to be provided).”
The effective transition date will depend on the type of entry in question (i.e., 01, 03, 11, etc.) and whether the goods are subject to PGA import requirements and, if so, which agency.
Complete details of the new transition dates can be found here.
