Professional Association of Exporters and Importers Presents |
| Webinar: How To Conduct Your Own Customs Compliance Risk Assessment |
|
| Date: | June 20, 2012 |
| Time: | 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time |
Compliance with today’s import requirements can be complex and confusing. Customs and other regulatory agencies expect importers, regardless of size, to be knowledgeable about their legal responsibilities and to implement controls to ensure compliance. If a company does not have a comprehensive understanding of its customs function, it may experience customs audits, penalties, liquidated damages, and increased overall costs due to misclassifications or undervaluation. Companies may also be missing out on duty reduction programs and other cost-saving measures.
